Husqvarna EPOS wire-free Technology
Virtual, wire-free operation through satellite based RTK-GNSS technology, enables an accuracy down to approximately 2cm. The absence of physical wires implies a new level of robustness and flexibility, permitting regular deep aeration and turf repair without jeopardizing the function of the robot installation.
Selectable mowing pattern
Improve the visual impression of the turf by changing the mowing pattern. With EPOS technology, the mower can run in parallel lines and create a variety of patterns, such as diamonds, triangles and checkerboard.
Warning lights
Energy-efficient LED warning lights provide visibility and discoverability in darkness and daylight for safe operations. The lights can be set to solid or flashing configurations and different schedules.
Husqvarna Fleet Services
Husqvarna Fleet Services gives you full control of the mower with the possibility to monitor, control and analyze your entire fleet of products from your smartphone, tablet or laptop. You can overview the status and exact location, command them to start/stop or group-command them to park at storm warnings or in case of thunder. Settings and cutting heights are adjusted easily. Receive alarms and track the mowers position in case of theft from everywhere.Support required from Automower Connect during installation and when editing of EPOS boundary wire free installations.
Pro user interface
Interface adapted for professional handling, meaning more important settings and controls managed remotely through Husqvarna Fleet Services smartphone app or via PC/tablet. Simplifies use for inexperienced users and minimizes serious impact on the product in case of vandalism.
Customized work areas
The fully connected product provides an opportunity to individually customize each work area with a unique time schedule, cutting height and cutting pattern. Provides tailored care for a site with multiple scattered areas.
Temporary stay-out zones
When the need arises, create temporary stay-out zones in your robot installation. Activates or deactivates quick and easy through the mobile app. Practically useful if part of the surface area needs to be restricted for a temporary construction work, seeding or during events.
EPOS guidance
Automatically calculates the most efficient route to and from the charging stations docking point. It will vary its route on the lawn to avoid unpleasant tracks.
Maintenance point
Designate and mark a machine maintenance parking spot on the map. On command, the product parks there automatically while waiting for service, cleaning, loading or storage.
appDrive - operate by remote
Seize the opportunity to operate the product using a remote control via the appDrive feature on your smartphone. The handling is easy and user-friendly, sparing you from strenuous, unnecessary lifting when the product needs to be moved between workspaces, to the service facility, or during installation.
Object Detection/Avoidance
For safety and minimized downtime, built-in sensors using ultrasonic technology assist the product to detect or avoid objects. The Detection mode reduces the speed and makes collisions softer; the Avoidance mode reduces speed and stops before the object.
Electric height adjustment - PATENTED
Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower Connect app. The setting is also accessible from the mowers main menu.
Unique cutting system
The principle of the cutting system is based on the grass surface being mowed regularly. This means that each blade of grass is cut very little at a time but often, which guarantees a strong, nice-looking and healthy turf. The robust cutting discs are equipped with sharp razor-like blades made of strong carbon steel. This provides efficient operation and extremely low energy consumption.
Balance control
Automatically detects and notifies if imbalance in the cutting system occur to ensure trouble-free and silent operation. Imbalance could be caused by missing, double mounted or damaged blades.
FOTA Firmware Over-The-Air
FOTA a technology that enables the operators to perform upgrades of the firmware, via the Fleet Services app. The downloading is done remotely, without the need of physical intervention into the product, and enables new features and updates.
Service position
The cutting deck is easily moveable into vertical Service position, to facilitate regular cleaning and maintenance.
Cutting deck with Protection zone
The Protection zone is the area from the cutting deck\u0027s outer edge to the blade discs. The Protection zone minimizes the risk of accidents.
Built-in Theft Protection
To reduce risk of theft, an alarm sounds if the mower is lifted and can only be deactivated with your unique PIN code. Additionally, GPS enabled tracking allows you to view your mower\u0027s location at all times.
Weatherproof design
Husqvarna\u0027s robotic products are built with 30 years of experience in harsh weather types, such as the Nordic climate. They are designed to operate 24/7 throughout the grass growing season, with normal maintenance and cleaning. The unique cutting system, with free-hanging razor blades on a cutting disc, ensures the cutting result even in rainy conditions.
