I love my new Stove; I had the same name brand that I bought in 1999 and it worked great. I was surprised that It was such a great stove for so long. When I went to order the new one the girl said she was so pleased that I had it for so long. it's now 2022 and that is a long time to have a stove. GE has great products, I have a mixer that I have had for over 55 years and it still works like new.

Replaced 50 year old drop in range with this one. GE moved the control knobs from back to front which is more convenient but the only available back splash they offer is two inches shorter than the old back splash/ control knobs. Also, the installation instructions didn't match this unit. Fortunately, it mounted exactly as the old unit. GE charges hundreds of dollars more for a 27" drop in than a 30" stand alone, but it is the only 27" drop in available so it was this unit or remodel the whole kitchen to accommodate a wider unit.

replaced 20 year old unit, basically the same with some updates, being an odd size range, delayed availability is expected, would help if dealers were given periodic updates on when delivery can be expected, suggest if a person is having problems with existing stove to order early, as this is the only 27"slide/drop in model being made

Bought this to replace 27 year old range. This is our only option without replacing existing cabinets. It is a little smaller but serves the purpose. Just wish price was lower!

Bought as a replacement for a 30 yr old drop in range. Choice was this range or a kitchen remodel. Way over priced compared to stand alone ranges as far as size and features. Oven is small. Knobs are cheap looking compared to the range. Had to reset the temp the first few uses.

THe burners don't always heat up fast enough. But I love the fact that the controls are on the front now instead of the back of the range. I wish there was a back splash that came with the range as I am having difficulty finding a way to fill in the space between the stove and the wall in back.

We built our house 54 years ago and installed a GE 27 inch drop-in range/oven virtually identical to the current model. No one else offers a 27 inch drop-in and without a major modification to the cabinet we have been pretty much locked in to this model, this makes unit number 3 installed in the same place. Happily we have had been very satisfied with the performance over the years, The unit we just replaced lasted about 25 years. It failed because the electronic control panel would fail intermittently when the oven was in operation; the failures became more frequent over the last year as the unit aged. Unfortunately due to the age of the model the repair part is no longer available. Research indicates that the GE engineers were aware of this problem and have corrected it. We look forward to many years of trouble free service.

We had to buy a 27 inch drop in because that's the way our kitchen was. Designed.The big burner sometime don't follow the setting on the dial as it sometimes goes wide open and you have to reset it.the other smaller ones seem to be alright.Haven't found a recall yet but I wonder if it's just my stove that has this problem.It was bought in 2017.

Not bad. Display good. Rear elements dont work that well if you are trying to heat big pot. Use correct size element and correct sized pot. Oven works good even at high temp 400 deg.plus. solid purchase

I haven't had it long enough to write a detailed review but so far it is great. The only thing I've noticed that I dislike is that it takes a pretty heavy pan to depress the sensor on the burners, some of my pots and pans are too light to sit on them correctly. The oven has worked flawlessly so far. I insisted on GE Profile when I replaced my old one because it worked for over 25 years!

Overall a good range, however I would like to have 2 large burners (maybe off set due to space) instead of 3 smaller burners. This range takes some getting use to with the safety features on the burners as well. Other than these two items this is over all a great little range for a small space.

I finally found one since they aren't manufactured any longer. I was unable to use a 30" range due to my cabinet configuration. It replaced my old 27 inch avocado colored one from the 70's. It fit in the space perfectly . I love the updated features however the oven is smaller that my old one. I had to purchase smaller cookie and roasting pans. Overall,very good.

This drop-in range is, as far as I can determine, the only available replacement for my failed GE 27"drop-in range without extensive work to modify my kitchen. It is an excellent, dependable self-cleaning electric range. The price was in the vicinity of $700 to $900 more expensive than a free standing GE range with the same or more features. I feel that I would have given this range a 5 star rating if the price had been fairer.
